My final project for The Iron Yard, NaturaList was an app created using React, Backbone, JavaScript, GBIF API, ParseServer, and many more tools to create a full stack application.
Using an API Key from GitHub, this assignment challenged us to retrieve the data from GitHub to recreate our own repository page.
A mock e-commerce website developed using MVC framework with a Backbone router and React components.
Given a design composition from a mock graphic artist, this assignment was to recreate the composition to pixel perfect standards with HTML, CSS, and minimal JavaScript.
A pixel perfect recreation from a mock designer, designed using Sass and responsive web design.
A collaborative team project, two other students and myself, worked together to manage a project as a team designing a turn-based game similar to the idea behind Final Fantasy.

Hi, I'm John Baldwin! I love coding and building software, website design, web applications, painting, drawing, and photography - really just about anything that has to do with art, science, and creativity.
When I am not creating art of some form or fashion, I enjoy learning new things, reading, listening to music, nature, watching sports (especially Clemson and Chicago athletics), hiking, camping, fishing, and so much more. I try to stay active and keep my hobbies diverse.
